This is turning into a great guide on ‘How to apply’.
I am going to print it off for son as he is in that set way of post /e-mail CV and just wait.
Sounds like that isn’t enough nowadays.

But, then I look back on the best staff we have ever employed (who also stayed for years) and they were always the ones who popped in with their CV’s or just applied on spec without us advertising any vacancies….then the CV would be on file.

I’d forgotten as we haven’t employed (apart from a bit of casual /p/t) for 4 years now.
